Finding Solutions for Africa

University of Limpopo Trust (ZA) A Project of U | KBFUS Funds

An historic university prepares for a bright future.

The University of Limpopo, also known as UL Trust, raises designated funds from corporate entities and funding agencies worldwide to support research and community outreach programmes at the University of Limpopo as well as for student financial aid. The world recession which began in 2008 adversely affected donor and investment income, but since 2010, and particularly with the advent of the Resource Mobilisation Centre, the situation has steadily improved.

The University of Limpopo is a university in the Limpopo Province, South Africa. It was formed on 1 January 2005, by the merger of the University of the North and the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA). These previous institutions form the Turfloop and MEDUNSA campuses of the university, respectively.

The mission of the University of Limpopo is to establish itself as a world-class African university, which responds to education, research and community development needs through partnerships and knowledge generation – continuing a long tradition of empowerment.

The vision of the University of Limpopo is to be the leading university Trust, optimizing excellence and global competitiveness and addressing the financial needs of UL through effective and efficient fundraising activities.

Our students are building better future for South Africa!

Help keep UL accessible and affordable for all students.
