Help Andrea Bike For Africa in North America! A Project of B | KBFUS Funds
Bike For Africa, the North America Edition, is a six-day road bike ride, from Niagara Falls to the Brooklyn Bridge in NY, and will benefit two amazing organizations in Africa. This bike ride was started in Africa in 2011 by the b.foundation, the philanthropic arm of Brussels Airlines, where I started working as Marketing and Online Sales Manager for North America in September 2016.
As one of the organizers of Bike For Africa, the North America Edition, I've had the privilege and honor of getting to know the two benefiting organizations, Georgie Badiel Foundation and Malaika, very well. These two organizations are improving the lives of kids, families, and community members throughout Burkina Faso and the DRC with 2 basic necessities of life; clean drinking water and education.
Birthdays mean a lot of things; the passing of another year, saying goodbye to certain milestones and welcoming new ones, and growing and evolving into who we are. I'm thrilled to make Bike For Africa, the North America Edition, a large part of my 28th year, from the organizing to the fundraising to the training for six days of intense biking.
I'm hoping you'll help me fulfill my goals of bringing more kids and families the clean water and education that everyone deserves with a small, tax-deductible donation. I have an ambitious goal of $2500 so anything you can do to help me get there is SO appreciated. I feel lucky and so privileged to have amazing friends and family who have supported me for 28 years. Now it's time to give back in a big way. THANK YOU!
